Everyone young and old is welcomed to participate in this first annual “Color Charge” at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. Whether you are a professional runner, walker, or skipper this is the run for you. Bring the whole family, part of the family, or just yourself. For those younger families strollers are always welcomed as well as “walkers” for those older than average families. :-)

First 300 people with prepurchased e-tickets will receive a color starting packet. No t-shirt is provided with this race. Participants are encouraged to bring/wear their own white t-shirt, tank top or whatever suits you.

Lineup for the race begins at 8:30am – “Color Charge” will begin around 9am

Participants can run or walk the course marked out in the park which will take them through the color charge zones!!
The color is 100% safe, non-toxic, and also biodegradable. It is made from food grade cornstarch and food color. As with any powdered substance, you will want to keep it out of your eyes and lungs much as you can. If you are very sensitive, you may want to wear glasses or goggles for your eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for your mouth. This is especially recommended for the younger participants. Be careful if you wear contact lenses. Because of the powder, Pets are not allowed on the course.

For after the race bring a towel or plastic bags to cover the seats in your cars. The powder can be dusted away or vacuumed fairly easily.

After the “Color Charge” stay for the Pancake breakfast being served by the Mandan Lions at the Triple Shelter.

Entrance to the park is FREE with a ND State Parks Annual Pass, or $5 vehicle self-registration at the entrance to the park. Don't have a ND State Parks Annual Pass, you can make that purchase at the Entrance Booth.
